We've Got Your SIX!
On Saturday, October 22nd we hosted our first Veteran's Disability Claims Clinic & Resource Fair at Holy Trinity Institutional Church of God in Christ in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. It was a HUGE success! Over 100 veterans participated and received valuable resources; over 70 veterans received claims assistance; over 30 veterans received their DD214!!!
We would like to thank Pastor Wells and his staff for allowing us to hold the event at Holy Trinity; participating veterans and vendors; Meijer Corporation for the continental breakfast; the Muskegon Veterans Service Center for donating hats, blankets and gift bags; and our awesome volunteers.
For our first claims event...the turnout was awesome! Thank you for allowing us to serve YOU. We look forward to doing more claims clinics/resource fairs in the near future.
In case you missed it, please view a story featured on WZZM TV13 about the event. https://www.wzzm13.com/article/news/local/veteran-organizations-resource-fair/69-73fdc2f4-d630-4c7f-bb99-965fdd146ef3
We need your feedback. Please take the time to complete a short evaluation about our event.

The MST Women Veterans’ Retreat is meant to be an empowering and affirming way to work on issues common to women who have experienced the human impact of a sexual trauma in the military, and are attempting to resume a fulfilling civilian life. It is meant to be a fun and enjoyable experience, and also an opportunity for you to make whatever personal shifts are necessary to recover from the stress of that traumatic event, and move forward into the post-military life that you envision for yourself.
To be eligible, you must have a diagnosis of PTSD related to a MST, and currently be in counseling. If you have a private or VA counselor, you may satisfy this requirement by showing that you have been in at least one counseling session within the last 90 days. What is most important to us is that you are joining the retreat because you have a reason for coming that is personally important to you, and that you are motivated to learn and make shifts in your life. If you sign up and confirm your attendance, we expect you attend as there is a wait list.
Please contact Henrietta Hadley henrietta@wincforall.com to indicate your interest in attending this year’s retreat or complete the online pre-application. We unfortunately cannot accept all applicants as we will have a maximum number of attendees, so indicate your interest today so that you can begin the application process.

Are you ready to help raise awareness of the over 2 million female veterans in the US? Me too! You can raise awareness by volunteering for a local organization on June 15 each year, walking a 5k, wearing military gear or pink, hosting a rally or forum for women veterans and most importantly, posting on social media with hashtags #2milstrong #wincinpink or #getyourwincon . Let's see those videos and posts!
